Course List

For beginning shooters who would like to learn how to shoot in a safe and professional environment.  All instruction is provided on-site.  Firearm rental, retail ammunition, and personal protective equipment is available for purchase at the range.

For experienced shooters who have a current Texas License to Carry.  This class covers the principles of drawing and firing from a concealed holster using both a two handed grip and a one handed grip.  This class is for experienced shooters only.

This is the state required pre-requisite for applying to obtain a new Texas License to Carry permit.  The course includes both the classroom portion and test as well as the follow-on range fire examination.  This is a 5-hour course as required by state law.  This is NOT a beginner’s course.  Mark 6 Tactical strongly recommends that you enroll in the Learn-To-Shoot Course prior to enrolling in this LTC Course.

Note:  Dates for this course will not be available until calendar 2023.

This is the official class needed to obtain your Texas License to Carry.  Once enrolled, you may progress at your own pace on all your devices.  The online course is 4 hours in length and you may elect to complete it all in one sitting or break it up in smaller time increments.  Once you have completed all the requirements and taken the online test, you will be able to download your LTC-101 Form, which you can then submit to an in-person proficiency examiner.

For beginners and experienced shooters alike.  This course focuses on the fundamentals of safe and effective marksmanship and is geared toward ensuring shooters are well prepared for hunting and recreational shooting.

Whether you are helping out with your kids’ summer scout camp on the .22 range, or simply want to make sure you better understand the safe operation of any range, this course will certify you as an NRA Range Safety Officer, and will allow you to serve in that capacity.
